pinoys looking for work abroad

Okay, so we are here in the Philippines and we badly need to get out of the country to earn more money and to help our family. We Filipinos are really like that- "family oriented" and there is nothing wrong with that, in fact, the love for our family is what pushes us to dream and reach for our dreams.

How do we earn money asap? For us pinoys, we want to work abroad since we don't have enough opportunities here in our own country. I am presently working in a call center but I also want to work abroad some day ( not now). I used to work in a travel agency , so I was lucky enough to travel outside the country for leisure (not work). I was also a LIAISON officer of our travel agency to the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) for passporting and other travel documents like Visa and authentication or red ribbon. Being a graduate of care giving myself, i used to visit the POEA website and read comments looking for opportunities. I was surprised that not many people know what to do or where to go to when they job hunt. I would usually reply to the questions and teach them what to do and how to do it specially for passport and authentication. People start thanking me and emailing me directly and asking if I know someone who can actually help them since they are from different provinces or they can't go to Manila. I saw an opportunity to share what I know and it's very rewarding. we all want that... we want to feel needed, valued and significant. (or maybe it's just me :-)

This is the day! I will select a topic soon (like how to get your documents authenticated, how to renew your passport etc) anything about traveling and finding work abroad and hopefully you'll be back for more and feel free to share what you know.
