TOR and DIPLOMA Authentication procedure
This is something I'm so used to since I used to assist clients in having their school records authenticated.It will save you time and money if you know what you need to bring and what you need to do before you even go to DFA.
MUST DO: You need your TOR and DIPLOMA (counted as 1 document) from your school.You need a certified TRUE COPY of those documents and a separate certification from your school with receipt.
If you're a graduate of a STATE UNIVERSITY, then you can just go ahead and have your TOR and DIPLOMA authenticated. If you're from any other school, you need to either go to TESDA (Technical Course), DEPED (High School Graduate) or CHED (College Graduate from a PRIVATE school) in your Region and they will issue you another certification before you can have your papers authentication by the DFA.
It will take around 5 business days before you can get your red ribbon from DFA.
WARNING: Only the owner is allowed to request to have their document authenticated, unless you are a relative who is duly authorized.
